Syrian Union of Industrial Chambers demanded Monday that the Syrian regime nationalize all private banks and review laws for the regulation and permission for private banks to operate in Syria.
The union offered a warrant to the Syrian industry ministry demanding it immediately nationalize private banks, accusing it of only supporting and financing big projects, and not allocating any part of its budget to the finance of small enterprises.
It is noted that head of the union, Fares Shehabi, in a recent interview with a Syrian news outlet, demanded the Syrian regime hit some Syrian regions with Patriot missiles to clear them.
