Government Calls for Aid, Safe Corridors in Homs

The government has asked the International Red Cross to facilitate safe passage for civilians

The Syrian government has officially requested the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to send humanitarian aids in coordination with the Syrian Red Crescent to relieve besieged civilians in the old city of Homs, an official source told Damas Post.


The source said the government, which claims terrorist groups are using residents as human shields, has called on the ICRC to secure safe passage for the besieged people in Homs Old City.
