Army Finds Rebel Chemical Factory in Damascus

The army also found weapons delivery systems in Jobar

An armed forces unit uncovered a manufacturing and storage facility for toxic chemical weapons inside a terrorist hideout in the Jobar district of Damascus Countryside on Sunday.


An official source said that an army unit seized toxic chemical materials, in addition to chlorine substances stored in containers. The source said some of the substances appeared to be foreign and Saudi made.


The source said the weapons seized also included dozens of mortar shells which were being prepared to be filled with the chemical materials.
