Libyan FM Admits Flood of Weapons and Gunmen to Syria

Mohamed Abdul-Aziz said the influx is undeniable

The Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Abdul-Aziz admitted that "a lot of Libyans" are fighting within the ranks of the armed terrorist groups in Syria.

"This is an undeniable fact," he said in an interview with the Russia Today television channel.

"A lot of Libyans volunteered to fight in Syria."

The foreign minister's comments confirm earlier reports and evidence of an influx of weapons and gunmen into Syria from all over the world.

"There have been weapons transferred from Libya to Syria, whether directly or indirectly," the Foreign Minister said.

"The arms shipments were not only from Libya, but from elsewhere."

In a sign of the scope of collaboration between the Libyan government and terrorists in Syria, the Libyan FM boasted of his country's "military assistance'' to the armed terrorist groups there.
