Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil ElArabi, conducted talks with head of the Syrian National Coalition, Ahmed Jarba on Monday for talks focused on efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis and impediments to the proposed Geneva II conference.
The meeting came ahead of an extraordinary meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled for Tuesday evening, headed by the Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Abdel Aziz to discuss developments in the Syrian crisis and efforts for a political solution.
Arab League sources said that the meeting also addressed the Geneva II arrangements and the difficulties relating to the position of the opposition and its representation at the conference which was scheduled for later this month.
