Syrian National Coalition Heads to Geneva II

Delegation meets with Brahimi to settle on details

A delegation of the Syrian National Coalition, headed by its Secretary General Badr Jamous, visited Geneva on Tuesday to hold a series of meetings with U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi,  along with Russian and Americans officials to consult on the Geneva II conference.

The meetings come after the Coalition postponed its meetings with the Russians due to urgent developments on the ground in Syria.

The Free Syrian Army meanwhile welcomed any "political solution that was based on bringing the criminals to justice and the formation of a transitional governing body with full authority," and a guarantee that "Bashar Assad and his cronies” had no place in the future Syria .

The Coalition delegation included both Abdul Hakim Bashar, Nazir Hakim and Abdul Ahad Stefo.
