Halqi Says Adra Massacres Ordered by Saudi Arabia and Turkey

Halqi's comments came as he met with the head of the Veterans Guild, Major General Adnan Makhlouf

Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi said on Monday that the massacres committed by terrorists against Syrians, particularly in Adra, outside Damascus recently, were ordered by those backing terrorists in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other countries.


Meeting with the head of the Veterans Guild, Major General Adnan Makhlouf and guild members on Monday, Halqi lauded the role of army veterans and their sacrifices to defend Syria from its enemies. he said Syrians are inspired by their victories.


Halqi said that crime and terrorism will be uprooted and victory will be achieved through solidarity between the army and the people, adding that criminal acts will not dissuade Syrians from standing firm.He also confirmed his commitment to bolster the national economy, provide citizens with their needs and restoring security and stability to all of Syria.


Halqi reiterated that the government will attend a scheduled conference in Geneva without preconditions, adding that there can be no solution other than a political solution which adheres to national standards and contains no concessions.
