Assad Confiscates Businessmen’s Assets to Cover Budget Deficit

Syria Steps website has published the names of some of those businessmen

Media sources say Bashar Assad's government has prepared a list of Syrian businessmen living abroad in order to confiscate their properties to cover the budget deficit. The excuse is that the properties are being delivered to the families of martyrs.

Syria Steps website has published the names of some of those businessmen: Nabil Rafiq al-Kazbari, Mahmoud Anzarouti, Ayaman Asfari, Zuhair Sahloul, Imad Ghrewati and others.

"The regime is preparing more lists", the source said.
