Aid Convoy Arrives in Aleppo

Aid will be sent to the citizens of Nubol, Zahraa, Afreen, Azaz and Uram

The Syrian Government, Aleppo governorate, in cooperation with World Food Program (WFP) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch (SARC) delivered on Tuesday a convoy of humanitarian aid to the northern and western countryside of Aleppo.


Aleppo Governor Mohammad Wahid Akkad told SANA that the convoy consists of seven trucks loaded with 5,600 food packages, each one weighing 40 kg.


The governor said that the aid will be sent to the residents of Nubol, Zahraa, Afreen, Azaz and Uram towns, pointing out that it is the eighth such convoy sent to Aleppo countryside recently.
