The National Working Group of Cordoba announced on Monday plans to hold the 'Sons of Jabal al-Arab' conference in Madrid in November 13-14.
The conference will be held under the patronage of the Spanish Foreign Ministry and the European Union, and in the presence of about 60 political figures, representing a broad spectrum of the sons of that precious Syrian region, in addition to Syrian national opposition figures.
The statement added that the conference comes within the framework of the preparation of the National Conference, which the group has called for, and all the components of Syrian society will be invited to attend.
The conference is expected to emphasize the fundamentals of the National Working Group of Cordoba, rejecting the sectarian quota system, and stressing on the unity of Syria's land and people.
The sons of Jabal al-Arab stand with the demands of the Syrian people and their blessed revolution which seeks to achieve dignity, freedom, and to establish a civil, pluralistic and democratic state.
