Zahran Alloush: Rocket Campaign Only the Beginning

The commander of the Army of Islam, Zahran Alloush, announced that the rockets launched by the Missiles Brigade was only a prelude.

"The rockets campaign on Sunday was to deter the regime's army from bombarding Eastern Ghouta. However, the regime has not stopped its assault, so we are preparing for much larger surprises", Alloush explained.

As for the number of rockets launched by the Army of Islam yesterday, Alloush said: "We have launched more than a hundred rockets, and we can confirm the deaths of more than a dozen officers from regime's army, including Head of the Presidential Palace Ceremonies", pointing to collaborative intelligence apparatus in Damascus, providing the Army of Islam with information.

Alloush stressed in a press conference on Monday that the most significant goal of the rocket campaign was targeting "the tank battalion located on the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood, which pounds the neighborhood on a daily basis, in addition to the security square in Kafarsouseh and the headquarters of regime army staff in Umayyad Square".

The commander further commented on questions on whether the rocket campaign was related to any external political action, saying that "we are not concerned with the Moscow Conference or any other conference, and we do not care about these things which we consider plots against our nation. I did not even know that there is a conference in Moscow, and I do not watch TV".
