Assad Forces Launch Major Rocket Attack on Daraya

Regime bombards town with over a dozen air raids and 33 surface-to-surface missiles

The Syrian army on Wednesday launched a major missile attack on Daraya, southern outskirts of Damascus, a monitor said.

Local coordination committees said regime warplanes carried out more than 15 raids on the embattled town, also firing at least 33 surface-to-surface missiles.

The aerial campaign has accompanied heavy artillery shelling on the southern neighborhoods of the town.
