Three-thousand civilians were evacuated Tuesday from the terrorist-besieged eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city through humanitarian corridors set up by the Syrian army and allied Russian forces.
SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that the evacuations, which started at dawn, will be continuous, adding that Syrian army units and authorities are transferring citizens to makeshift centers in Jibrin.
In the same context, the Russian monitoring center in Hmeimim announced that 7,796 people, including 3,946 children, have left the eastern neighborhoods during over 24 hours.
The center also said that 375 gunmen had handed over their weapons and turned themselves in to authorities to have their legal status settled.
It added that since the beginning of the military operations in Aleppo, over 100,000 civilians, including 44,367 children, have been evacuated from the eastern neighborhoods, while more than 7,000 people had returned to their houses in the areas retaken by the Syrian army.
