The Russian Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov, met on Monday with Syria's Ambassador to Russia, Riyad Haddad, to discuss means of resolving the crisis in Syria and mutual Syrian-Russian cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, talks during the meeting focused on issues pertaining to a political solution to the crisis in Syria, the Geneva peace process and comprehensive inter-Syrian dialogue.
