Russia will not pass any United Nation Security Council resolution which leads to intervention in Syria under humanitarian pretexts, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
In a joint press conference with his Eritrean counterpart on Monday, Lavrov added there is no substitute for Geneva communique for resolving crisis in Syria.
The minister stressed that there are deliberate attempts to hold the Syrian government solely responsible for the brutal crimes, through lies and manipulation of the facts.
He said the Coalition represents a very small faction of the Syrian opposition, but not all of it, asserting that a number of opposition figures inside Syria are forming a new body to take part in Geneva talks.
