The temporary president of the National Coalition George Sabra said that: "the coalition has enough information to say that the kidnapped bishops Bolos Al- Yaziji and Youhanna Ibrahim are fine and we will resume the efforts to release them".
Sabra said in an interview with Kuwaiti Al-Rai newspaper that "the coalition is following the case of the kidnapped bishops Bolos Al- Yaziji and Youhanna Ibrahim with extreme concern" adding that "we have a crisis cell following the case and we have enough information to say that their health is fine and they are safe".
Earlier last month, some anonymous armed men had kidnapped the bishop Bolos Al- Yazigi, the head of Roman Orthodox sect in the region of Aleppo, and bishop Youhanna Ibrahim, the head of Syriac Orthodox sect in the region of Aleppo, near the Syrian- Turkish border and led them to an unknown destination.
Considering the same problem, Sabra mentioned that "too many interferences have complicated the case", adding that "we will continue the efforts to reach a happy end through releasing the two bishops very soon".
