Foreign Ministers of Syria and Lebanon: It is Necessary End War Crimes

In their joint statement, they strongly condemn the ongoing systematic Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and emphasize the immediate cessation of such actions. They also call for an end to the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israeli aggression. The statement further emphasizes the urgent need for the immediate and unconditional delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the unequivocal rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian population or undermine their just cause.

Regarding the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Syria and Lebanon, the statement highlights that their discussions revolved around addressing the challenges associated with the Syrian displacement crisis in Lebanon. They stress the significance of collaborative efforts to ensure the dignified return of displaced Syrians to their home country. The international community, the United Nations, and its specialized agencies are urged to fulfill their responsibilities in facilitating this goal. Minister Mekdad also elaborated on the measures undertaken by the Syrian government in recent years to restore security and stability and to facilitate the return of Syrians to their homeland.
