At least three people were killed onTuesday in Homs province as the heavy bombardment of Syrian regime forces resumed on the embattled neighborhood of al-Waer, following months of relative calm months, a monitoring group reported.
The Britain-based ٍSyrian Observatory for Human Rights said one man was killed in Waer and two others were killed in Assad’s prisons, tortured to death.
The Syrian city of Homs, dubbed "the capital of the revolution" by rebels, has been a key flashpoint city since the early days of the three-year-old revolt against Assad.
