The Ministries of Education and Higher Education decided to postpone all exams scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in universities, institutes and schools due to the current weather conditions.
Minister of Higher Education Mohammad Amer Mardini told SANA the exams were postponed to ensure no student fails to attend the exams as a result of harsh weather circumstances.
He said that rectors of universities and heads of institutes have the authority to schedule exams in accordance with the circumstances and nature of each of them.
The Ministry of Industry also postponed the exams of its affiliate institutes, also scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, due to the current weather.
