Russia has called on the Syrian opposition to abandon the language of threats and return to the dialogue table, stressing that Moscow supports a unified opposition.

Speaking to reporters in Abu Dhabi, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said: “It is necessary for the opposition to behave realistically and renounce the ultimatums, which do not fit into the rules that have been approved by the U.N. Security Council,” according to Sputnik.

The Russian minister said that Moscow is interested in coordinating efforts with the United Aarab Emirates to resolve the crises in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya.
