Prime Minister Imad Khamis received on Sunday Algerian Ambassador Saleh Bosha to discuss increasing joint cooperation and trade in a number of areas, including transport.
PM Khamis underlined the Syrian government’s desire to raise the level of economic and trade relations between the two countries for the benefit of the two brotherly nations.
In turn, Bosha said that Algeria calls for an end to the crisis in Syria through political means to ensure the unity and independence of Syria and prevent all forms of external interference.
He pointed out his country’s desire to accelerate the pace of improving economic relations and increasing trade, adding that “We have strong convictions about the Syrians’ rights and we are confident about the future of Syria.”
