A Syrian regime airstrike killed at least 23 people, including three children and three women, in the northern Syrian town of al-Bab near Aleppo on Saturday, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights.
Activists said the deadly attack on al-Bab was the second in four days after 15 people, including six children, were killed on Wednesday when barrel bombs were dropped on Ibad al-Rahman mosque.
Regime barrel bomb attacks also targeted the village of Rasem al-Hermel in Aleppo’s eastern countryside, while two more barrel bomb attacks also struck neighboring Kuwaires military airport, activists said.
