Following the attack, regime forces heavily deployed along the international highway, as reported by the gathering.

An opposition leader disclosed that the targeted Air Force Intelligence patrol had been responsible for significant violations against civilians in the eastern countryside of Daraa. The patrol had previously conducted a forceful entry into the city of Sheikh Miskin and detained numerous young residents.

The leader further highlighted the growing trend of targeting operations against security patrols of the regime’s services in Daraa Governorate, driven by their continuous violations and mistreatment of civilians.

In the eastern countryside of Daraa, two explosive devices detonated in military vehicles also affiliated with Air Force Intelligence, this time along the Karak al-Sharqiyah-Al-Ghariya al-Sharqiya road. These explosions left two regime members with varying injuries.

On the eastern Ghariya road, regime forces discovered a third explosive device, which they successfully detonated remotely.

Air Force Intelligence patrols secured the area of the attack, blocking the passage of civilian vehicles as ambulances arrived to transport the wounded.

Just two days prior, young individuals targeted a Hilux military vehicle belonging to the Military Security Branch with an explosive device in the village of Ain Dhakr, west of Daraa. This resulted in serious injuries to Assistant “Qaher Abu Hamza,” who suffered injuries to his face and feet, and several other Military Security personnel sustained various injuries.
