A child was killed and two others were injured on Monday in a terrorist attack on al-Fayhaa Sports Complex in Damascus.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired two mortar shells into the indoor basketball court at al-Fayhaa sports complex, claiming the life of 13-year-old Saria al-Hajjeh and inflicting severe wounds on two others during a game of basketball.
The attack also caused significant damage to the complex.
The source added that a third mortar round fell on al-Adawi highway, causing only minor damage.
