Units of the Syrian armed forces successfully restored security and stability in towns in the Daraa Countryside on Wednesday, after destroying terrorist dens and hideouts.
An official source told SANA that the army units restored security in the towns of Kharba, Snain, al-Abdali and Ein al-Zakar, dismantling terrorist explosive devices planted in the streets.
The source said the armed forces seized an 82mm caliber mortar during the operation.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar attended on Wednesday, overseeing drills conducted by law enforcement and security forces.
He underlined the need to confront terrorists with bravery and force to end the crisis, saying that Syria is stronger than all the plots hatched against it. He said terrorists will not win.
