Three Saudis Killed in Minnigh Base Battle

Foreigners played a vital role in the operation's success

Saudi web forums reported the death of three Saudis in the battle to liberate the Minnigh air base in northern Syria, which fell to the rebels on Tuesday.


Three different forums said identified the martyrs as Mouaz Abdul Rahim, Mansour al-Abboud and Abdullah al-Siyat.


Zaman al-Wasl had previously reported field sources saying the foreigners had played a vital role in the operation's success. Members of theIslamic State on Iraq and Syria conducted a suicidal operation inside the base earlier in on Tuesday morning. The operation caused the destruction of many buildings and vehicles, making storming the base easier.
