ISIS Changes the Weekend In Raqqa

The Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) issued a resolution that changed the official weekend to Thursday and Friday instead of Friday and Saturday in Raqqa.

ISIS justified the decision by stating that Friday and Saturday weekend is the system followed in the faithless countries, so they changed it to give an Islamic imprint to the city.

ISIS forced students in Raqqa to apply the resolution, but ths student's organization tried to lobby the students through organizing quizzes in the parks and civilian areas of the city.

In al-Bab, pictures showing the fighters of ISIS burning tons of cigarettes were published. It is noteworthy to say that tobacco heads the list of materials ISIS prohibits.

In Raqqa, a picture of a four-year-old girl wearing an Islamic veil was also published. ISIS Facebook pages published comments on the picture saying: "When the beauty of the veil meets the innocence of children."
