Army Continues Campaign Against Terrorism

The Syrian army said it continued its operations against terrorist groups across the country on Tuesday, eliminating terrorists and destroying their hideouts, weapons and equipment

Army units eliminated terrorist groups in the countryside of Daraa and near the Roman Road in the area near the Zababir-al-Haswa turnpike.

 

 

An army unit eliminated 20 terrorists in the Kharabat area, destroying seven cars equipeed with heavy machineguns and anti-aircraft guns.

 

The army also thwarted an attempt by terrorists to attack an army checkpoint in the southern countryside, eliminating most of the terrorists including a Jordanian affiliated with the Nusra Front, using the names Abu Hajar, Fawwaz Ahmad al-Nahar, Ibrahim Yasin al-Balkhi, Majd Dahdal, and Mohammad Mustafa al-Zoubi.

 

Units also confronted terrorists who tried to attack Abu al-Duhur Airport in Idleb countryside and inflicted heavy losses on them there.

 

The army units destroyed terrorist cars which were equipped with heavy machineguns and killed and injured many of them.

 

The army eliminated an armed terrorist group and destroyed cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in several neighborhoods and towns in Aleppo province.

 

Units of the army confronted terrorists who tried to infiltrate into Sheikh Said neighborhood and the Syriatel area in Aleppo, killing and wounding many of them.
