The United Nations Under-Secretary General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman revealed that he held “good, comprehensive and candid talks” about regional issues with the Presidential Political and Media Advisor Bouthaina Shaaban during the Oslo forum last month.
“The meeting was ordinary, although we had met four or five times before,” Feltman said in an interview with al-Hayat newspaper on Wednesday.
Asked whether the talks touched on U.N. Security Council counter-terrorism resolutions, Feltman said that the issue “was not raised during the meeting.”
Shaaban took part in Oslo Forum which was organized between June 18-20, 2014.
The forum is organized every year jointly by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Geneva-based Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue .
