Maarouf Says Nusra Left Aleppo for the Turkish Border

Activists have broadcast on YouTube a dialogue between the leader of Syria's Islamic Front, Jamal Maarouf, and one of the leaders with the al-Sham Brigade about problems between the Nusra Front and Syria's Islamic Front.

Nusra has been fighting the rebels on the Turkish-Syrian border for weeks on the background of accusations that some fighters from the Islamic Front have been robbing people in the areas they hold.

Maarouf began his speech by criticizing Nusra's style, which launches military conflicts.

"If you want to investigate someone, is it better to fight him or to ask to investigate with him? I assure that Nusra Front has never asked any member from Islamic Front to investigate him. If they had done so, I would have sent any fighter to them, but they didn’t."

"Maybe some fighters are not honest, but why did nobody speak with me about this?" Maarouf asked.
