A fight which occurred on Friday between two members of an Assad regime militias wounded 58 people, most of them children and their families in a park allocated for Eid games.
The pro-regime Damascus Now network reported that the fight occurred in the Daf al-Shouk district in the capital’s south, and that firearms and grenades were used.
The fight broke out between two young men because of a girl, and ended with them throwing grenades, which caused a large number of injuries, mostly to children who were in the area, which had been allocated for them to play. The young men then fled the scene.

Residents of regime-controlled areas suffer from various violations committed by regime militias, such as theft, kidnapping, tolls, and arbitrary arrests.
Among the practices of the “shabiha”, which have spread widely in the streets, are the ill treatment residents, harassing women and girls, and using profanity.
