Syria’s Planning and International Cooperation Commission signed two cooperation agreements with China worth 16 million dollars with the aim of providing humanitarian aid to the Syrian people.
According to the agreement, China will provide two batches of humanitarian aid to Syria; the first batch is worth over 5.8 million dollars while the second batch is estimated at over 10.2 million dollars.
In 2004, Syria and China signed nine cooperation agreements in the sectors of agriculture, economy, water, technical cooperation, loans, health, tourism, oil and gas.
