Warplanes of the so-called “international coalition” targeted Raqqa’s National Hospital building with incendiary bombs on Thursday night, according to humanitarian sources.
Deputy Director of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Raqqa Dina al-Asaad said in a statement that the hospital was shelled with more than 20 phosphorus bombs which struck electricity generators, ambulances and a number of departments inside the hospital.
She added that the hospital provides its services for more than 100,000 people in the city, explaining that the Islamic State terrorist group is not present at the National Hospital as it runs its own facilities and its private medical centers.
