Two Deir ez-Zor Oil Wells Return to Service

Two oil wells in the al-Taem field in Deir ez-Zor province have been put back into service, as part of the integrated program of action carried out by the government, which aims to restore the productive sectors and provide basic services to the citizens of Deir ez-Zor.

SANA’s reporter in Deir ez-Zor said “oil wells number 103 and 107 are back to service”, adding that the two water stations of al-Shmeitia and al-Morei’ya had been opened, in addition to the re-opening of several centers and municipalities in the province’s countryside.

Operation Director at the Al Furat Petroleum Company, Fawaz Afara, said that the two wells are working at a capacity of 500 barrels per day, following repairs made by local experts.
