The former president of Syrian National Council, Abdul Basset Seida said that the a replacement for Ghassan Hitto, the current president of the Syrian Transitional Government is possible during a meeting of the executive body of the Coalition decided to be held in Istanbul on 11-12 May.

The former president of Syrian National Council, Abdul Basset Seida said that the a replacement for Ghassan Hitto, the current president of the Syrian Transitional Government is possible during a meeting of the executive body of the Coalition decided to be held in Istanbul on 11-12 May.
 
 
 
Seida hinted that search for a substitute was a result of Saudi opposition to Hitto.
 
 
 
In an exclusive interview with the Turkish Anatolia news agency, Seida said that "Acknowledgement of the Saudi position in refusing Hitto, might be one of the reasons behind the search for a substitute."
 
 
 
"For us, there is a triangle of friends supporting our revolution, we should coordinate with that triangle, which includes Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar".Seida said.
