At a weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi instructed all ministries and authorities to be prepared during the Eid al-Fitr holiday and continue to provide the best services to citizens, particularly health and electricity utilities.
Halqi also issued on Wednesday a decision to dismiss 50 employees from different ministries and government institutions, under new government measures to combat financial and administrative corruption.
