Damascus Governorate Distributes 3,610 School Bags

Social Affairs Minister says the government is committed to providing education services

The Ministry of Social Affairs and the Damascus Governorate on Wednesday distributed 3,610 school bags to students in various schools in Damascus.


Social Affairs Minister Kinda al-Shammat told journalists that the government is committed to providing education services, saying that the initiative seeks to encourage children from families affected by the crisis to continue their studies, in addition to reducing the burden on their parents.


The Damascus Governor, Bishr al-Sabban stressed the need for all parties in the government and society to combine their efforts to ensure the continuation of the education process.
