Khawla Mattar, spokeswoman for the office of United Nations Special Envoy Staffan de Mistura, said on Thursday that the UN did not change the date of the intra-Syrian talks in Geneva due Friday.
“We did not postpone the talks, and any reports about a change or delay comes from media outlets,” Mattar said in a statement to Russian Sputnik news agency.
The UN announced Wednesday that de Mistura has sent invitations to all Syrian participants.
