Turkish authorities will open the Bab al-Hawa border crossing five days before Eid al-Fitr for Syrians living in Turkey wanting to visit their relatives in Syria without specifying a return date, a source told Iqtissad.
Lawyer Hosam al-Sarhan said the crossing would be open in the early hours of the morning on the first day of Eid to avoid congestion, like previous years.
According to Sarhan, Syrians who have a Temporary Protection Card (Kimlik) can leave via Bab al-Hawa crossing point without any restriction on their return date.
