Russian Military Officers Honor Members of the National Defense Militia

Russia has held a ceremony in Deir ez-Zor to honor members of the National Defence Militia and present them with certificates writes Deir Ezzor 24.

Local sources revealed to Deir Ezzor 24 that Russian officers honored a number of the national defense elements in al-Mayadeen city east of Deir ez-Zor.

The sources added that the honoring ceremony was held by Russian forces in al-Mayadeen city, in the presence of the leaders of the National Defense Militia in Deir ez-Zor.

Deir Ezzor 24 was able to obtain exclusive photos of the commendation certificate given by the Russian officers to the honored members of the National Defence Militia. 

It is indicated that the National Defense Militia is one of the militias affiliated with Assad’s forces in Deir ez-Zor, and most of its members are from the province. It supports Assad’s forces in all battles, and is usually used in the front lines during fighting.
