Thousands of Afrin’s Citizens Take to the Streets to Denounce Turkish Assault

Thousands of citizens have taken to the streets of Afrin to denounce the Turkish aggression on their city.

The aggression of the Turkish regime in northern Syria entered its 19th day on Monday, with hundreds of civilians having been killed or injured due to the targeting of homes, infrastructure and public facilities.

SANA’s reporter, who toured the city, documented the massive destruction caused by the Turkish assault and met with a number of citizens who affirmed their commitment to their city and to confronting the Turkish aggression in defense of themselves, their property and their identity.

Since the first day of the Turkish aggression, Afrin Hospital has received the bodies of 142 civilians and nearly 345 wounded, all of them civilians.
