An army unit on Monday carried out precision strikes against fortified positions and infiltration points of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the affiliated terrorist groups in the southwestern countryside of Quneitra and areas surrounding Quneitra city, inflicting heavy personnel and equipment losses.

SANA said that an army unit carried out precise bombardments against dens and infiltration points used by terrorist groups in the village of Nabe’a al-Sakher and in the area surrounding Quneitra city, killing scores of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their fortified positions.

Local sources told the reporter that over the past few days which have witnessed successive victories by the army in Daraa's countryside and engaging most of its villages and towns to local reconciliations, some terrorists who rejected the reconciliation fled from the Daraa countryside towards the western countryside of Quneitra.

SANA noted that the movements of terrorists are under protection of the Israeli entity and in coordination with the leaders of the terrorist organizations in the area.
