Syrian Parliament Condemns Turkish Aggression on Afrin

Syria’s parliament condemned on Monday the brutal Turkish aggression on the Syrian city of Afrin.

During a session, Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh called on the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States to condemn the aggression and pressure other governments to condemn the assault on the Syrian people and territory.

He added that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, the killing of Syrians and the destruction of their homes is proof of Ankara’s hostility and continued efforts to destabilize the region.
